The Outer Banks Sports Club is dedicated to serving our community and providing superior customer service. Members of our club are like family and we welcome everyone, including OBX visitors who come in for a day, a week or a season.

Our mission is to help our members achieve their personal health and fitness goals. Whether your goals are to lose weight, get stronger, increase speed and agility, or simply to improve your overall physical and mental health – the Outer Banks Sports Club is the gym for you.

7:10 am-8:10 am

Jump Start

Jump Start is the perfect class to get your morning started. This is an interval training class with a mixture of weight lifting and cardiovascular workouts. There is always something new happening in this class so that your body gets a great new workout! This is good for any age and is a multi-level class.

8:00 am-9:00 am

Barre

Low impact, fun, yet challenging full-body workout that incorporates Pilates, yoga, and ballet inspired exercises utilizing the ballet barre. This is a 60 minute class focusing mainly on small isolated movements that will strengthen, tone, and lengthen your muscles, improve posture and core stability, increase flexibility, and burn fat. This is a multi-level fitness class for all ages with NO dance experience required. Light weights, balls, resistance bands, and more will be used in this class. Class is performed barefoot. Grip socks are optional. Prepare to BURN and SHAKE at the Barre!

8:15 am-9:15 am

Chisel

Our renowned body sculpting class will make you feel like a prominent sculptor as you shape, tone and define your body in such a way that others will suspect you've had work done. Hand weights, body bars, and the usual props will be the tools of your trade.

Yoga

Concentrate on improving balance, flexibility, relaxation and breathing techniques. This is a great way to learn how to manage and relieve stress. Tuesday's are more of a flow class - multi-level flow. Thursday's are gentle with a focus on deep stretching. We also offer Interval Yoga on whatever Tuesday class falls around the 15th. This is a multi-level class.

9:15 am-10:15 am

Spin & Core

This multi-level class combines a cardiovascular workout on the stationary bike followed by a workout focused on the upper body, balance and core.

9:30 am-10:30 am

Spin Class

This cardiovascular workout is performed on a stationary bicycle, focusing on proper body alignment and proper cycling techniques. Please bring a water bottle and a towel to class. All cycling classes can be modified to be multi-level.

9:30 am-10:30 am

Muscle Up

This strength workout is designed to condition the entire body using resistance exercises to develop muscular strength. Weights, balls, and more may be used during this multi-level class.

10:30 am-11:30 am

Silver Fitness

This class is designed for older adults and is mostly performed in a chair, although some standing exercises may be incorporated. Tubing and other equipment may be used to improve strength, flexibility and balance.

5:30 pm-6:30 pm

Muscle Up

This strength workout is designed to condition the entire body using resistance exercises to develop muscular strength. Weights, balls, and more may be used during this multi-level class.

5:30 pm-6:30 pm

#toned

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) will enhance athletic capacity and fat burning with bursts of high energy exercise followed by active recovery to improve endurance and build strength. Class may include cardiovascular and strength exercises.

This dynamic 60 minute workout combines muscle-sculpting barre exercises with high intensity cardio intervals. HIIT the Barre is a great total body workoout that will strengthen your muscles, improve endurance, increase your metabolism, boost your stamina and definitely get your heart rate up. Small equipment will be used in this multi-level class. Class is performed barefoot. Grip socks are optional.

6:30 pm-7:30 pm

Piloxing

This is a 60 minute non-stop high-energy interval workout that blends PILATES, BOXING, and DANCE. This dynamic program moves through heart-pumping, powerful boxing combinations to sculpting and lengthening Pilates-influenced movement to "let yourself GO' dance releases, and back around again. Build power and strength with Boxing. Improve balance, coordination and flexibility with Pilates. Get funky with fun Dance moves. This unique combination is guaranteed to burn calories and push you past your limits! Class is performed barefoot. Grip socks are optional. Special weighted gloves are recommended.
